LI: Her Patchwork Family by Lyn Cote

I am fairly certain that there has yet to be a Love Inspired novel that I have read that I did not like, and I know that I like the writing of Lyn Cote. So hearing about a LI Historical from Patty Smith Hall's review, I cannot hesitate before adding it to my TBR list!

Her Patchwork Family (Love Inspired Historical)

When Felicity Gabriel inherits a mansion, she decides to turn it into a home for orphans. But her first charges test her resolve: one child is a thief, suspicious of her kindness; the other is the local judges traumatized daughter.

Broken by war, Judge Tyrone Hawkins is devastated when his little girl runs from him to Felicity. But Felicity’s courage despite the town’s scorn for her orphanage and her caring way with his daughter restore his lost faith. Now he wonders if they all can find the family they seek. . .just in time for Christmas. (read more)

  3. Carla is new and i loved her Gladiator book. Cheryl has some great ones too. Just finished Lyn's last night...if you haven't read the first one in the series you should! It's called Her Captain's Heart. The third one comes out in December of this year.

  4. Janet Dean is good. And I love Janet Tronstad's Dry Creek series (she has it in contemporary and historical)Debra Clopton's Mule Hollow series is great too, but it's contemporary. Although it reads like a historical because of the small town atmosphere and cute little matchmakers!
